I recently acquired an older Celestron NexStar 8 OTA and decided to utilize the red dot finderscope from my Celestron NexStar 6SE. However, I encountered a problem as the dovetail bracket for the finderscope failed to align with the mounting holes on the NexStar 8. Consequently, I designed this custom bracket in OpenSCAD, enabling you to use your NexStar 6SE's finderscope with a NexStar 8.
