I am replacing the cockpit section (reference photo), by this new model "Red Dog Fighter - Premium, with real concept unlike its peer, which is free download. this model comes in 1/30 scale (166mm long), 16 mm longer than the free version. features more realistic elements and some special features, such as aerobrakes at the rear, also with a mounting hook to be embarked; fuel tanks for longer flights. a pitot tube on the right wing, as an infrared reader in the fuselage nose. the cockpit is pivoting, and should be carefully attached at the time of installation. features a fighter pilot, in a more simplified version. 4 machine guns installed in the nose of the fuselage, for engagements and ground attack. its real scale is 5 meters long, a single-engine mini fighter, for low altitude, but with capabilities to be embarked and extend its range. PIECES: the following should be considered when producing the print. clone 4 missiles to clone 2 fuel tanks clone in reverse the left and right rear aerobrakes. the fuselage comes in 2 parts, the right side contains the pitot tube, the left side the anchoring hook of the mounting rod (bottom and rear side of the fuselage). to ensure an understanding of how this Premium model is put together, see the included photos; they clearly explain the details. the pistons are locking, they should be made with care. in this model comes 2 forms of pedestals; the first one is classic with a perforated pedestal on its circular base. the second one is to make it with a thin rod of 3/8" diameter or 2 mm diameter (wire); to form according to the PDF drawing included and install it in grooved dies. the die with the letter "B" is for the base; I like this version better because it allows to see clearly the lower part of the fighter. the round profile or wire pedestal (PDF), can be printed in metal if necessary. As with any model some parts will need to be sanded to fit naturally, but this will be minimal; as tolerances are included for this scale. This model is inspired by several fighters of the 60's, where I have collected the most notorious features, it is ideal for beginners in modeling and dioramas; since the parts are minimal compared to those models of world brands.
