Every five weeks, I donate platelets and for what feels like FOREVER, the same scheduler from the Red Cross has been there to schedule or change my appointments. As a gesture of gratitude, I decided to send her a special gift. Using the Win 8.1 "3D Builder" application, I created a custom presentation by superimposing her name and branch location onto it. She seemed to appreciate the thoughtful present. The logo has two distinct components - a cross and a circle. With Slic3r, you can split these parts apart and print each one in a different color, leaving some space between them for reassembly. If your 3D printer is equipped with dual colors, you might want to use the X3d file, although I haven't personally worked with this type of file before, I believe it's the intended use.
