Here is the rewritten text: Red Baron II: Hand Launched Biplane Glider - A New Hybrid Model I'm thrilled to introduce Red Baron II, a hand launched glider that combines PLA with balsa wood. This new model is a direct result of the thoughtful comments and emails I received about my previous "Red Baron Hand Launched Glider" design. Many reminded me that Snoopy's iconic doghouse was actually designed as a biplane Sopwith Camel, not a monoplane. In gratitude to those who pointed this out, I've created a biplane glider that honors the original design. Like its predecessor, Red Baron II is perfect for indoor or calm outdoor flying conditions. To achieve optimal performance, I've combined a lightweight 3D printed fuselage with balsa wood flight surfaces. The design consists of just three 3D printed components and three templates for cutting six 1/32" balsa wood flight surfaces. To streamline the printing process, I used 3D printed templates to cut out the flight surfaces. This approach saves time and reduces waste, making it easier to produce multiple models. As always, I've made sure to document every step of the design process using Autodesk Fusion 360, and sliced the files with Cura 3.4.1. Red Baron II was printed in PLA on both an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended. If you have any questions or concerns about this design, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'm always here to help!
