Transform an old useless laptop into a portable monitor by repurposing its display. I started with a Dell Inspiron's LCD display, LTN154X3-L01. The controller board can be sourced from Amazon: VSDISPLAY HDMI LCD Controller Board works for 14.1" and 15.4" LTN141AT01 LTN154X3 displays with a resolution of 1280x800 and a 30Pin LCD Panel. A 12V-2A power brick was also needed, which I found lying around.
