Recursive Dodecahedral Frame

Recursive Dodecahedral Frame

thingiverse

A dodecahedral framework replicates itself on each inner face in smaller scale, with a reduction factor ensuring that nested dodecahedrons touch each other perfectly. This intricate design was inspired by an image seen years ago on a POV-Ray forum. Unfortunately, the creator's name remains elusive due to fading memory. Three initial objects are included for the first three levels of recursion. However, attempting a fourth level resulted in an overly complex and unappealing structure.
