Recumbent bike parts
grabcad
The Solidworks 2013 assembly features an articulated human riding a recumbent bike/trike frame, where the frame is just a reference part. You can manually rotate the cranks, and the man will pedal accordingly. The purpose of this model is to evaluate clearances in recumbent bicycles or tricycles, particularly those with enclosed fairings like Quest velomobiles. The human model is not fully constrained for ease in rearranging parts. It was derived from a freebie included on the bonus CD with an Alias software seat (from around 15 years ago).
