Rectorado de la Universidad de Córdoba
sketchfab
Building characterized by a central rectangular body and two circular wings at the ends. A grand central entrance is flanked by three closed doors surrounded by iron gates, topped with five carved stone balconies corresponding to the Mudéjar Salon. A large central clock marks the upper zone of the building. Various materials are used, including glazed brick, ceramic tiles, hardware, and other typical elements of "Sevillian style" architecture, such as serlian windows, in addition to horseshoe arches, etc. It is one of the most unique buildings of Cordoban Regionalism, combining the use of brick, stone, and tile. The forms of the arches, with bicolored voussoirs, directly allude to the model of the Mosque and dominate the style of neo-Mudéjar. 3D laser scan by Backup3D service of AgeO for Virtual Heritage Portal of Andalusian Universities.
