Rectangular Vacuum Former with legs
thingiverse
This design is similar to one found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35402 but features a rectangular shape with legs and a bent vacuum connection. To enhance detailing, additional holes and grid lines have been added. Print without support using 2 layers or more with an infill rate of 20% or higher. Assemble the stand, gasket, and base using hot glue for air tightness, and secure rubber bands around the poles to improve the seal between mounts and stand. Magnetic plastic mounts are included for attachment, but screws/bolts or hinges can also be used. Cut plastic sheets using a template according to the mold's requirements, and ensure a suitable vacuum is connected; an adapter may be needed. A heat gun is essential for proper detailing. To use the vacuum former, turn on the vacuum, place your object on the stand, and heat the plastic in the mounts before pressing down onto the base.
