Introducing Gyrobot's first installment in the Extruder series, a base-mountable extruder with a 50mm hole pitch compatible with Wades design. Upgrade to Quick-Fit version available. The design includes an M6 captive nut slot for easy hotend installation or use of Recreus style hotends. A PTFE tube insert can be added post the MK7 gear wheel for flexible filament printing. The extruder is currently performing well on a Prusa Mendel. Check out Gyrobot's website and Facebook page for more information. Printing instructions include support due to Nema motor recess in rear of model. For an M6 all-metal hotend direct mount, a 40mm cooling fan is required. Drill hole for PTFE liner insertion. Assemble extruder with M6 captive nut for hot-end and M5 captive nut for tensioner. Tensioner requires an M5 locknut, screw, 4mm spring, bearing 624, and M4 screw for the bearing.
