In recent decades, museums have transformed, adapted, and radically reinvented their principles, policies, and practices to the point where the ICOM Museum definition no longer accurately reflects multiple challenges, visions, and responsibilities. We invite members and other stakeholders to participate in creating a new and more up-to-date definition.
