Recovery Coin

Recovery Coin

I am a church pastor with over ten years of experience helping addicts and alcoholics, having established a support group at our church as one of its key ministries. To make these milestones more meaningful for participants, I decided to create 3D-printed coins to pass out during recovery celebrations. These unique tokens have been well-received by the community, and people appreciate the personal touch that comes with knowing someone took the time to craft each coin. Below are several models: a 1-Month Coin, a 3-Month Coin, a 6-Month Coin, a 9-Month Coin, and a blank template for users to add any milestone they want. I also created a First Meeting Coin to give to newcomers or those attending their first meeting after a period of sobriety. The accompanying Scripture is Deuteronomy 29:6 (NKJV), which states: "You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God." Here are some print settings for these models: • Printer Brand: MakerBot • Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator • Rafts: Doesn't Matter • Supports: No • Resolution: 1 • Infill: 10% • Notes: These coins take minimal time to print and use a small amount of filament, making them perfect for using up the remaining material at the end of each roll.
