Recovering Supero Hero!

Looking to be more than just a toy, Esmerald is a wearable game-set that turns the child into a superhero. Designed specifically for kids in hospitals, it tells an empowering story: The child is normally a superhero but their arch enemy has stolen all their hero items and powers, sending them to the hospital, feeling unwell. To recover their power and get back on the streets, bringing law and order, the child must overcome challenges set by family and doctors that may include completing physical rehabilitation sessions such as chemo, finishing medicine jars, having casts removed or getting shots. After every challenge is conquered, the child recovers one of their items, slowly regaining their powers with each new item recovered. This makes hospital stays more bearable, fun and challenging, as every new day brings opportunities to recover more power. Of course, this requires full participation from family and medical staff to make the child feel like a superhero they are. Background research includes Child and Teenager Psychology, Pedagogy, and making design fun while creating it. The goal was to offer not just a plastic figure but an adventure that turns their hospital stay into something they're eager to accomplish with help from everyone around them. It involves the system around the child behaving differently for a good cause. Imagine if every children's hospital "played" this game! It would be a superhero hospital where every child shares progress and asks about each other's powers! Every child can design their own power items and invent their superhero story, and the toy can be customized. Esmerald is just an example of how it works. The items must allow the child to wear them while still in the hospital, attending challenges wearing them as their powers! (of course maybe shower time is okay not to wear). Esmerald power items are printed flat in PLA for faster printing times and then bent while still hot using a pencil or soda can as mold. Either boys or girls, using Esmerald or creating their own, at a hospital or at home, it doesn't matter. Crime never rests! I hope this idea reaches real children and helps them recover faster and happier!
