(Recorder) Flute stand

(Recorder) Flute stand

This is a flute stand. It's perfect for showcasing your flutes, keeping them upright and easily visible. There are two versions available right now. In my opinion, the standard version (Blokfluitstandaard) looks really neat because it's small and has a short print, but it's also a bit too small and there's a higher chance of warping during printing, so I designed a second version (Flute stand 2.0) to solve that problem. The Flute stand 2.0 features three separate legs, which eliminates the risk of warping entirely. Additionally, the stick that holds the flute is slightly thicker (7.4mm, compared to 7mm in the first version). These stands are designed specifically for soprano recorder flutes, but they'll probably work well with other types of flutes too. I'm planning to create one for an alto recorder flute as well. Printing these stands requires minimal cleanup effort afterwards. You can customize them by adding text to the legs, for example. I even added my sister's initials on the legs of the first version. If you have a fan on your 3D printer, you might hear the stand whistling during printing, which is actually kind of fun. If you do print this, please post a "make" on Thingiverse and give me a like! I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures of a printed Flute stand 2.0 soon!
