Record wall display Mount using prusament spools
prusaprinters
This mount makes a great display for unique records. I don't have many unique records, but pictures are attached for how it works. Included are a 33 RPM, and 45 RPM mount as well as a washer. Print instructionsPrint with no supports. At least 15% infill on the mount and 100% on the nut. Assembly instructions 1. 3d print a 33 rpm mount or 45 rpm mount and the washer. 2. Pull apart a prusament spool by rotating and pulling the plastic apart. 3. Remove cardboard center and set aside. It's not needed for this project. 4. Put the 3d printed mount inside one half of the plastic spool. It is pressure fit, but using an adhesive to bond them together for safety is a good idea. 5. Drill hole(s) in the wall for a couple screws or a hook. 6. Attach hook to wall and hang the spool, or screw the spool onto the wall. 7. Place record on the mount. 8. Thread the washer slightly onto a m3 x 10 bolt (Some are in the spare parts bag that came with the prusa) and screw it into the hole in the center of the mount. 9. Enjoy your new display!
