The figure, along with its matching piece, was unearthed in 1794 by Robert Fagan on the Cesarini property at Campo Jemini, near Tor Vajanica. Winter is depicted as a woman, enveloped in her cloak and surrounded by five cupids shown engaging in hunting and fishing. The statue, to which Neo-classical sculptor Massimiliano Laboureur added the head, dates back to around the midpoint of the 2nd century AD. This object is part of "Scan The World."
