From 1909's excavation division; marble, circa 530 BC In the temple area of Myus near Miletus, several smaller-than-life votive offerings in the form of reclining men were discovered during excavations. The symposiast was a particularly popular sculpture type in Ionia. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory. Through this project, we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
