Reckhams Delta Smart Effector 5015 tornado fan blower mount, VOLCANO version
thingiverse
Because there aren't many smart effector 5015 blowers available, and I wanted to print more with PETG, I decided to create my own blower. The 5015 blower is mounted similarly to a Tevo Little Monster Radial Blower, but it has much more power. This makes it very nice for printing with PETG to avoid stringing. For printing temperatures around 205°C, I recommend a cooling fan speed of about 35% and a fan speed of 0% for the first layer. UPDATE: 30.12.2018: - I added an improved version v2: - It's 3mm lower - Has better mounting - And is much lighter Setup: - You might need to drill the holes in version v1 for the effector screws a little because they might be a little too tight. - The blower needs so much power that it requires at least approximately 33% fan speed. At 100%, you have a pure storm of fans that cools your prints within seconds. - PID tuning is recommended. For those who don't know how to perform it, try the following macro for H1 (nozzle heater; use h0 for bed heater): M303 H1 S250; auto-tune heater 1, default PWM, 250C target or maximum temperature M303; report the auto-tune status or last result M307 H1; see the result M500; save the result in config-override.g Thanks to @LeeIIIWill for the Smart Effector F360 model that made it pretty easy to configure a good blower: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3229215 Feel free to remix it. I uploaded the F360 File too.
