recirculating ball slider
thingiverse
This is inspired by a design that I can't locate on thingiverse now. (it was a single-sided version of this) This fits 2020 style rails and is fully parameterized on onshape double slide https://cad.onshape.com/documents/26ee0e5b03c66a9be90c58d1/w/cc28cee1a6669f90de84a381/e/92afbf062997c6e0ad010ccb single-slide https://cad.onshape.com/documents/26ee0e5b03c66a9be90c58d1/w/8612de08e39c79f2214059b9/e/92afbf062997c6e0ad010ccb Adjustable preload double slide https://cad.onshape.com/documents/26ee0e5b03c66a9be90c58d1/w/d1099d18ac6dfbbd3e15d280/e/92afbf062997c6e0ad010ccb you can adjust the rail size, number of balls, preload, and slop the ball size I printed this on an Ender 3 with PrusaSlicer with 20% infill This includes support for the retainer. I tested this with 5/16" and 3/8" balls (available as slingshot ammo on Amazon for ~$20 to get 1000-1500)
