Reciprocating Mechanism

This animation was inspired by Gareth Was Here (http://garethwashere.tumblr.com) and was modeled with Solidworks 2016. It was rendered using Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition, edited for frames in Virtualdub, then saved as AVI/X264 and BMP format. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, while PhotoScape helped create GIFs from the renders. IrfanView was employed for editing the renders. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are all animated. For mobile viewing, use the free Simlab Viewer app on IOS and Android devices to view the ZIM file. The model is available in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
