An archaeological excavation in a Visigothic necropolis in Sena, Huesca, has uncovered the discovery of a prehistoric cemetery prior to it. The cemetery belongs to the funeral rite of the Urns Fields and dates back approximately 1,000 BC. The discovery of this prehistoric necropolis in the Monegrian municipality of Sena was made possible by the discovery of two urns and a lid at the same location where the Visigothic cemetery from the fifth century AD was located, which was the original object of the excavation.
