A Custom Cube Design for Four Lithophanes (93mm x 93mm x 2.5-3mm or 100mm x 100mm x 3-3.5mm) - Additional Standard Dimensions to Follow Soon This innovative cube design is powered by electronics and a battery, which can be replaced with one from a cheap powerbank. Users have the option to power it with a USB supply (1A) or rely on the built-in battery. More detailed information and images will be added next week, but for now, this placeholder provides STL files for printing. The included designs cater to various lithophane sizes and thicknesses: * Top_100mm and Bottom_100mm are designed for 100mm edge length and 3-3.5mm thickness. * Top_100mm_4mm and Bottom_100mm_4mm offer 4mm clearance for thicker lithophanes. * Top.stl and Bottom.stl are tailored for 93mm edge length and 2.5-3mm thickness. * The universal designs cater to other dimensions. **Printing Instructions:** 1. Print the top part upside-down, but note that this will be changed in the next export. 2. Use the test-tool.stl to determine the correct width for printing. **Non-Printed Components:** ### LEDs * Four SMD LEDs (Osram LCW JNSH.PC-BUCQ-5H7I-1) are used, featuring: * Package/Case: SMD-2 * Illumination Colour: Cool White * Wavelength/Colour Temperature: 5000 K * Luminous Intensity: 2590 mcd * Viewing Angle: 120 deg * Lens Colour/Style: Tinted, Diffused * If - Forward Current: 20 mA * Vf - Forward Voltage: 3.05 V **Note:** You can use other LEDs, but ensure to calculate the required resistors. ### Powerbank * A suitable powerbank is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/2600mAh-Portable-External-Battery-Charger/dp/B00NIIR194/ ### USB Breakout * A USB breakout adapter can be found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/MonkeyJack-Female-Adapter-Converter-Breakout/dp/B071VZ2119 ### Resistors * For the used LEDs, 4x 100Ohm 1/4W resistors are required. * To calculate the resistor values for other LEDs, subtract the forward voltage (Vf) from the 5V USB voltage and divide by the forward current (If) in A. In this case: 5V(USB) - 3V(Vf) = 2V 2V / 0.02A = 100V/A = 100Ohm ### Screws * M2x5mm screws: 5 pieces * 2x10mm pan head wood/universal screws: 4 pieces
