Recessed Can Light Glare Shield

Recessed Can Light Glare Shield

A light shield to reduce glare on projector screens or OLED displays. These are designed to fit with the common recessed can light fixtures. They are typically held in place by a spring mechanism, and these shields simply slip underneath the edge of the can light, and are held in place by that spring tension. Super simple. I printed mine with white PLA+, and found light clearly could be seen through the plastic, so I ended up spray painting the inside flat black, and the outside gloss white. Came out fairly clean, and prevents obvious glare on the projector screen. Different lights and different distances, may need the taller or shorter versions. I ended up using all 3. I suggest modifying printer settings so it's all "walls" and printed solid. This is a remix of Ludax2000's Ceiling Light Shade. I needed versions that were taller than the original model, and these should be scaled correctly to print at 100%
