Firstly, adjust the print size if it's 1mm too tall; fix later. Then, find Scad & stl files for both 3mm and 1.75mm filaments! To solve the hotend issue, switched from jhead to a stainless steel Prusa hotend, but had to modify the aluminum plate with a slight depression. Added a recess plug with an extruding ring from Greg's Wade Reloaded extruder scad for automatic alignment, reducing heat trap and offset plate problems. Assemble faster with less filament feeding resistance. For installation, check hole fit with filament; drill out if needed. Taper the top edge slightly using a drill bit or file to prevent binding when loading filament. Alternatively, align the hole with hotend filament for perfect extruder fit. Main goal is to eliminate air gap.
