Housings for Blade receptacles 6.3 X 0.8 are available as an alternative to shrink tubing. For automotive or motorcycle electrical applications, these housings improve the appearance of cables, especially for insulated tabs. Simply attach the housing and the contacts will snap in. Suitable for applications up to 48 volts. Printed with PETG material, ABS or Nylon can also work but PLA is not recommended because it's not elastic enough and lacks heat resistance. Type 1: For blade receptacles with plastic insulation up to a wire cross-section of 2.5 mm2 and flat receptacles without insulation DIN 46340 T1-T4, with or without latching tongue up to 4 mm2. Type 2: For blade receptacles with plastic insulation up to a wire cross-section of 2.5mm2 and flat receptacles without insulation DIN 46340 T1-T4, without latching tongue up to 4 mm2. Type 3: For blade receptacles without insulation DIN 46340 T1-T4, with locking latch up to 1.5 mm2. Type 4: For blade receptacles without insulation DIN 46340 T1-T4, with locking latch up to 6 mm2.
