Receiver Mounted Backup Light Mount
thingiverse
I engineered this in Solidworks to attach an LED floodlight to my receiver, addressing the weak reverse lights on my Ford F-150. Inspired by others' work on this topic, I designed the locking tabs to be secure yet easy to remove when towing. Required Parts: * LED Light (specifically designed for this project) https://amzn.to/355sCyw * Trailer Side 7-way connector https://amzn.to/2oasCg0 To assemble the metal bracket, use a 1/4" bolt and nylock nut with the "NO_BOSS" version of the STL. Alternatively, print the version with the mounting boss and utilize the hardware provided with the light to secure it in place. Note: Ignore the cut-off bosses in the picture; I mistakenly offset a vector during the design process. This error led to the creation of the "NO_BOSS" version, which later became the preferred choice. The version with the bosses was revised with accurate dimensions and now fits the light perfectly.
