I required a mount for my Flysky FS-IA6 radio receiver to be placed on my Immersion Vortex 285 and couldn't locate one that functioned. I utilized Questpact's Antenna Mount as inspiration and created my own in 123D Design. The antenna on the receiver needed supports to mount and hold them at the correct angle, and I wanted to be able to easily remove the receiver if necessary, so I designed it so the antenna could be unzipped from the mount. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.27 Infill: 10% Notes: Printed in ABS at 4 shells to add strength and ensure thinner areas were solid, while keeping the weight as minimal as possible. How I Designed This Instructions The receiver has two antennas that I wanted to mount at 90 degrees to each other. I used large zip ties to act as antenna supports. Shrink wrap them to the antennas, adding a bit larger piece to cover the ends. Use double-sided tape to mount the receiver in the mount and small zip ties to mount the antennas. Then, use double-sided tape and zip ties to mount to your quad. I reinforced the antenna mount after my first version cracked upon a harder-than-usual landing (that's called a crash).
