Rebuilt Gravity Feed Water Dish
thingiverse
I stumbled upon the "Gravity Feed Dog Water Bowl" created by drewbuckingham, and was eager to bring it to life for my dog's use. My initial attempt in PLA yielded a couple of concerns - some seams on the model were problematic, and certain points where the designer had built the model proved challenging for my slicer to seal properly. Additionally, the model displayed a rather blocky appearance that wasn't smooth inside the bowl. I took matters into my own hands, rebuilt the model, and carefully cleaned up those pesky seams before smoothing out the inner surface even more. After these improvements, I decided to print it in PETG, which performed significantly better than PLA and is designed to be more stable for storing and holding water.
