Rebellion hotend cover w LEGO Stand
thingiverse
I placed my R2D2 LEGO model right on top of the printer, creating the illusion that it's rolling around as the machine moves. The thin walls (only 2 mm thick) called for 100% infill to prevent the brackets from breaking off. To support the structure, I utilized tree supports and limited them to just the roof area, using a mere 5% infill rate for easy removal once printing is complete. This strategic approach ensures that the supports can be easily taken out without damaging the surrounding area. Installation is a breeze – simply remove the two screws holding the hotend cover in place, and attach this new design right on top!
