rebel coaster

Human: I designed a rebel drink coaster to pair perfectly with Max's Imperial Coaster, which can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2987605. To print this design, start by printing the base in solid plastic and the logo in flexible filament. For optimal results, use 10% infill for the base and 100% infill for the logo. A dual extruder is ideal for this design, but it can also be printed with a single extruder machine in two separate prints. Although it's a tight fit, the flexible filament will still squeeze into place. Max's Imperial Coaster has a no-derivatives license, so I created a similar base using 3D Builder by combining a cylinder and cone shapes. This design is now available for anyone to remix. The included file contains a blank base that can be used as a starting point for creating your own coaster design. To do this, open the design in 3D Builder and center it with the base. Scale the design to fit the base and set its height to 3mm. Move the design above the base, delete the original base, save the design as an STL file, and then reimport it into your software. Finally, subtract the design from the base to create a unique coaster that perfectly complements Max's Imperial Coaster.
