Rearview Mirror Dash Cam Mount

This mount adapts the stock rearview mirror stalk to some common rearview mirror dash cams available on Amazon under many brands. I can't be 100% sure which ones it will fit. The model/brand I designed it for no longer exists.

I installed mine on a 2007 Honda Pilot, I took apart the original rearview mirror and sanded down the plastic chunk the stalk attached to so it was thinner and flat to fit the void in the mirror/mount holder and used hot glue to help reduce any wiggle.

Example of the dash cam mirror it could fit: https://www.amazon.com/WOLFBOX-Mirror-Backup-Camera-Screen/dp/B0811Q28N6

I think all the fasteners are M3 bolts, I keep this kit of metric socket cap bolts/nuts around for 3D printing projects: https://www.amazon.com/Comdox-500pcs-Socket-Screws-Assortment/dp/B06XQLTLHP

You will want to print two of the clips and then mirror the clip and print two more that way. Print the mirror holder with the nubs on the build plate and supports. You will want to avoid using PLA, it will warp in a hot car, I used PETG.
