Rear wing for Norev Peugeot 908 HDi FAP
thingiverse
I designed a rear wing for my Norev Peugeot 908 HDi FAP diecast car to address a common issue where the original wings often break off at just three inches. Although this design is tailored to my specific model, I believe it can be adapted for use on other sports prototype cars as well. The base of the wing consists of two 1 mm thick squares, carefully spaced 2 mm apart to ensure stability and a solid foundation. The remaining components are also 1 mm thin, precisely aligned to optimize print quality. Two longer "legs" were included to facilitate easy installation; better too long than too short, I figured. The angle between the base and the wing is set at a precise 10°. Meanwhile, I've been working on creating a tilted version of the wing that will add an extra layer of realism to my model. I used Google SketchUp to design this rear wing, taking advantage of its intuitive interface and powerful features to bring my vision to life.
