UPDATE: 15-07-19 Found out my sedan has pre-cut holes for the original blower, so I'll measure and edit drawings to fit those holes perfectly. Might need to reprint everything, but no new holes will be required; Measuring will have to wait a bit because I won't be near the car in the next two weeks. UPDATE: 18-06-19 Added a narrower version of the blower part (Blower_narrower.stl), which should increase airflow. Not sure if it's necessary, but I added it just in case. In my opinion, the original slit was too wide; this new part decreases it to 1.5mm. For a while now, I've owned an Oldtimer Opel Kadett B. When driving in rainy weather or freezing conditions, the rear windshield fogs up and limits my line of sight. Normally, you'd use the rear window heating element, but unfortunately mine has broken traces, so it won't work. To fix this, I found a solution on the Dutch Kadett B forum (http://www.kadett-b20.nl/smf/index.php/topic,12255.0.html), which looked very promising. After asking about the project's status, there were no more updates, so I decided to draw my own version. After designing the parts and printing them, I assembled everything. Although I haven't installed it in the car yet, when testing, I can feel a warm breeze coming from the blowers. The demister uses the following components: - two 80mm fans - A ceramic heating element, which I salvaged from a Dunlop car heater like this one (https://www.action.com/nl-nl/p/dunlop-keramische-kachel-/); I bought mine at the Dutch store Action. - 2x M4x15 screws for mounting the top - 2x M4 threaded inserts for mounting the top - 8x M4x40 screws for mounting the fan - 8x M4 nuts for mounting the fan - 2x M3x15 screws for mounting the ceramic heater - 2x M3 nuts for mounting the ceramic heater - Two pieces of 50mm hose with a length of +/- 500mm, depending on the car and mounting options. I got these at a local pet shop that sells 50mm spiral hose (meant for ponds), which does the job perfectly. This project will be updated as soon as it's installed and tested; however, that might take some time. For Dutch readers, the project is also updated on this forum post: http://www.kadett-b20.nl/smf/index.php/topic,13285.0.html
