The WEM Copicat is a legendary tape echo machine from bygone eras. Its heyday was in the '60s and '70s, making it abundant among enthusiasts. However, its rugged life on the road has taken a toll, leaving many damaged or incomplete units behind. My own model suffered a broken rear vent, prompting me to create a replica that mirrors the original's design. I've intentionally omitted the plastic rods used to secure the vent into the device's body. Instead, I recommend drilling and screwing it in place or using a strong adhesive for a durable hold.
