Because my original skid plate had a minor mishap, I decided to create this 3D printable part from scratch. I designed it in Fusion 360 using the original part as a template and an old-fashioned caliper to get the dimensions spot on. My first prototype fits perfectly, but I do have some ideas for improvements to make it more rigid and durable. I haven't put it through its paces yet, but when it does eventually fail, I can simply print a replacement in under 90 minutes!
