Rear rack mount for Garmin Varia radar light
thingiverse
This thing is a mount to install on the rear rack of your bicycle to attach a Garmin Varia radar light. Whether your bike is a tourer or if you have a dropper post and don't want the Varia on that, this is the ticket. If your rack has any bend to it like mine does, you may need a small wedge underneath to make it absolutely level. There is a notch on the back of the mount that should fit over the rails of most racks. There is also a hole for a screw and nut to fasten the front to the rack. The mount is designed for #10x24 screw and nut and will capture nut in the countersink. 1" long screw worked for me with a 1/4" wedge under the mount. If your rack is flat and don't need a wedge a 3/4" long screw should be right. You can always use longer but then the end might stick up out of the mount. Partly remixed from Garmin Stem Mount. I cut off the Garmin socket to use on my mount... and downsized it by a few tenths of a millimeter to make the device fit a little tighter.
