Rear Mounting Z Brace for Monoprice Maker Select Plus Printers Mounts the newest generation of smooth rods securely on top of the gantry, out of the way and unobstructed. To assemble this rear mounting Z brace, you'll need: 2 pieces of 444 mm (17.5") M8 metal threaded rod 4 M5 x 16 screws 10 M3 x 12 screws 6 M8 hex nuts to secure the rods 2 M8 nylon hex nuts for the bottom to prevent slipping Choose either size of printed nuts, placing smaller ones on the outside and larger ones inside the rods. When removing top screws, be cautious when aligning the smooth rod bracket with screw holes. UPDATE: Modified the left rear lower bracket to clear power switch housing, April 3rd, 2018.
