This design is for a rear-lens cap specifically tailored to fit lenses featuring the Pentacon 6 (P6) mount, commonly found in cameras such as those from Pentacon and Praktisix. The dimensions for this design were derived from measurements provided by photo-krause. UPDATE 2017-09-24 This design has undergone thorough testing and is now confirmed to be fully functional. Several key improvements have been implemented: It is now deeper, providing a snugger fit on the lens. A stopper has been added to prevent excessive turning of the cap. Custom supports have been integrated for enhanced stability. UPDATE 2018-11-21 The design has undergone significant enhancements: Printing without supports is now possible. Fitting has been greatly improved, gradually tightening as the cap turns. Snagging and getting stuck on the lens when removing the cap have both been eliminated. Filesize reduction has resulted in a more efficient printing process. Grip pattern modifications aim to reduce print-time intensity; an alternate version without the pattern is included for reference.
