Rear lens cap for CONTAX / YASHIKA lens mount

These are custom rear lens caps designed specifically for the CONTAX/YASHIKA lens mount, which is known for its high-quality Carl Zeiss lenses. However, obtaining original parts can be challenging, so I created these rear lens caps as an alternative solution. There are four different types of exterior designs available, including those with and without a grip, as well as variations featuring the "CONTAX" logo. Despite the differences in appearance, all caps have the same interior design. The type without a logo and grip is remarkably similar to the original cap. I designed the "CONTAX" logo myself by tracing the image from my camera using 2D CAD software. This resulted in an extremely accurate representation that cannot be replicated with standard fonts. After testing these custom caps on various lenses, including the Planar 1.4/50, Distagon 2.8/28, and Vario-Sonnar 4/80-200, I found them to fit well most of the time. Nevertheless, it's essential to be cautious when attaching the cap to the lens to ensure a secure fit. In the near future, I plan to develop rear lens caps for the CONTAX G lens mount as well.
