Rear landing gear plane skyhunter
thingiverse
Hi, take a look at my other designs on https://www.thingiverse.com/mg_evolution/designs. This design is still a work in progress and has not been thoroughly tested yet. I created this part specifically for my Micro Skyhunter plane, to complement the front landing gear I designed earlier (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2764934). To assemble it, simply insert the wing bolts through the sliders before attaching them to the fuselage. The legs are connected in a way that allows for a bit of gap adjustment, which enables you to space the wheels around 10mm closer or further apart. By breaking off the end of each leg, you can open up the slider and increase the gap size even more. This design raises the wing by about 2mm when attached to the fuselage. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing design, but I hope it will be functional nonetheless. The legs were printed with 3 walls and 15% zigzag infill in Cura. The wheels, on the other hand, were printed with 2 walls and 8% zigzag infill in Cura. I might revisit the wheel design to give them a more realistic, round shape like rubber tires.
