Rear Endoscope Mount for Prusa MK3S Camera
thingiverse
This is an endoscope mount that positions an endoscope right behind the extruder assembly. The mount is designed to replace the cable support piece and screw directly into the extruder assembly. I created it for an 8.5mm diameter endoscope, using an 8.75mm ID so after printing it fits in smoothly. Some videos of my endoscope in action can be seen here: https://youtu.be/1jOCNYSnR3g https://youtu.be/dzvaJtSYEzg Note: Depending on the tolerance stack up on your extruder and the hardware you use, you could slightly reduce the print volume. This will also happen if you use the spool holder included with the Prusa that attaches to the gantry. Be sure to use a countersunk screw (flat head screw) in the right place. *** Update *** 03/03/2020: I realized that the original version of this prevented the printer from calibrating the z correctly, so I changed the top screw to a flat head screw. 04/27/2020: I made a configuration for a 5.5mm endoscope (5.5mm ID) by request. 05/10/2020: I created a configuration with a 7.5 mm ID by request.
