Rear Cup Holder Blanking Plate for BMW vehicles

This is a basic blanking plate designed to replace the rear cup holder in an E39 BMW 5 Series. My own E39 BMW has been plagued by a faulty rear cup holder that refuses to close properly or snap into place. Every time someone sits down in the back seat, it gets knocked loose, causing frustration and inconvenience. It's surprising that BMW would design something so flimsy, given its importance in keeping the rear air vents securely in place. Fortunately, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a custom solution using 3D printing technology. I designed this blanking plate with a sleek blue finish, perfect for prototyping purposes. For added functionality, I also created a second design that incorporates two USB charger ports or cigarette lighter sockets. To ensure seamless integration, I used rubber-covered connectors from Banggood. However, the clips holding the panel in place are quite crude and require improvement. They don't make it easy to remove the plate without causing damage, which is something BMW could definitely address in their design.
