Hello again!Big caliber, small caliber, and shotgun reamers!Ive got a pretty extensive collection of reamers and videos on how it is made. I made some examples with the information of the SAAMI and the CIP. PDF files are added with the dimension. The SAAMI PDF files hold a large variety of calibers (pistol, rimmed, rimless, and shotgun calibers). Also a video of wildcat manufacturing is added. The examples from the video are added in the upload as CAD files. The 2 sided or the 1 sided reamer. Its a good alternative to the 6 fluted reamer and its more easy to produce with "simple" machining tools. Also some more PDF files on how reamers are made are added. Like the 4 fluted reamer, I did not add that one, but you will get a good idea on how it is made/how to design your own after you have studied all the material. Also a book on grinding is added, this is a big book, but you will be able to select the right kind of grinding wheel for your task. If you only want to make some reamer for your own rifle, a benchgrinder is good enough. When you are doing production you are better off doing it "right" all the way. Those reamers will last longer. With multiple sided reamers, you want to have uneven angles between the flutes so there is less chance of "chatter" to occur. A file is added called: "fig 56 page 124 Irregular Spacing of Teeth in Reamers" It will help you to get the right angles for the flutes. I hope you find this upload and the information as exiting as i have found it to be. It took a long time to collect al this information, and i hope you can put it to good use! Note on the chamber reamer cutting angle, I made it 7 or 8 degrees. That is what steel needs in order for it to be cut right. One last thing. I did not draw go and no go gauges.
