Realsky HDRI Sunset 1710 Description: This 32-bit HDRI map unleashes highly detailed real-world lighting to illuminate your 3D scenes. Dubbed "Image-Based Lighting," this technique opens doors to photorealistic results. The map boasts stunning noise-free ultra-high detail (15k) and exceptional dynamic range in 32-bit per channel EXR format, ensuring top-notch visual fidelity. The map itself, along with the supplied 15k JPEG image, offers enough resolution as a backplate for cinema-quality visuals. Shot from real sky conditions, not digitally rendered, using auto-bracketing techniques and stitched from RAW files for maximum quality. Included formats in zip file: * 15k (15000x7500 pix) 32-bit EXR file * 15k (15000x7500 pix) 8-bit tonemapped JPEG file Measures Dynamic Range: 11.91 EVs Sun Altitude: 0 degrees Shooting Time: 17.10 On the 41st parallel, shooting in October at 17.10 yields a 0-degree sun angle. Calculate your project's correct time of day using this angle and your latitude-longitude coordinates. For instance, Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun tools feature algorithms for such calculations. If memory issues arise and high-resolution renders aren't necessary, scale down the EXR map with Photoshop and use a lower-res version. I used a 2k version when rendering sample scenes from this file. This map is also available in Realsky HDRI Six Pack 2.
