Realsky HDRI Sunset 1645 Description: This 32-bit HDRI map unleashes highly detailed, real-world lighting to illuminate your 3D scenes with precision. This technique is also known as "Image-Based Lighting." The map boasts noise-free ultra-high detail (15k) and incredibly high dynamic range in 32-bit per channel .exr format. The map itself and the accompanying 15k jpeg image provide ample resolution for backplate use, even in cinema-quality projects. Captured from a real sky (not digitally rendered), this image was taken using auto-bracketing and stitched from RAW files to ensure the highest possible quality. Included formats within the zip file: * 15k (15000×7500 pix) 32-bit EXR file * 15k (15000×7500 pix) 8-bit tonemapped JPEG file Measuring Dynamic Range: 20.18 EVs (The highest dynamic contrast available in the market) Sun Altitude: 2.5 degrees Shooting Time: 16:45 Shot on the 41st parallel in October at 16:45, which yields a sun angle of 2.5 degrees. You can calculate the correct time of day for your project using this angle and your latitude-longitude. Tools like Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun feature algorithms for such calculations. If memory issues arise and lower resolution renders are acceptable, you can scale down the EXR map with Photoshop, utilizing a lower res version if needed. For instance, I used a 2k version when rendering sample images of this file.
