Realsky HDRI Sunset 1613 Description: This 32bit HDRI map unlocks highly detailed real-world lighting for your 3D scenes, a technique also known as "Image Based Lighting". The map boasts noise-free ultra high detail (15k) and extremely high dynamic range in 32bit per channel .exr format. The map itself and the supplied 15k jpeg image offer sufficient resolution for use as a backplate, even for cinema-quality visuals. Captured from an actual sky, not digitally created, using auto bracketing and stitched from RAW files for maximum quality. Included formats in zip file: 15k (15000×7500 pix) 32 bit EXR file 15k (15000×7500 pix) 8 bit tonemapped JPEG file Measured Dynamic Range: 21.47 EVs, the highest dynamic contrast available on the market Sun Altitude: 7.8 degrees Shooting Time: 16:13 At 41st parallel in October at 16:13, a 7.8 degree sun angle results. Use this angle and your latitude-longitude to calculate the correct time of day for your project with tools like Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun. If memory issues arise and super high resolution renders are not needed, scale down the exr map in Photoshop and use a lower res version. For example, I used a 2k version when rendering sample renders from this file.
