Realsky HDRI BlueClear 1414 Description: This 32bit HDRI map enables highly detailed real-world lighting to be applied to your 3D scenes. This technique is also referred to as "Image-Based Lighting". The map offers ultra-high detail (15k) and a high dynamic range in 32bit per channel .exr format without any noise. The map itself, along with the supplied 15k jpeg image, provides enough resolution for use as a backplate even for cinematic quality projects. This map was captured from real-world sky conditions using auto bracketing and stitched together from RAW files to achieve optimal quality. Included formats in the zip file are: * 15k (15000×7500 pix) 32 bit EXR file * 15k (15000×7500 pix) 8 bit tonemapped JPEG file Measured dynamic range: 20.37 EVs (The highest dynamic contrast available on the market) Sun altitude: 23.5 degrees Shooting time: 14.14 When shooting at 41st parallel in October, a sun angle of 23.5 degrees is achieved at 14.14. You can calculate the correct time of day for your project by using this angle and your latitude-longitude coordinates. For example, the Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun tool has an algorithm to calculate this. If memory issues arise and you don't require super high-resolution renders, you can scale down the exr map with Photoshop and use a lower resolution version. I used a 2k version when rendering sample images for this file. This map is also available in Realsky HDRI Six Pack 1
