Realsky HDR Blue Cloudy 1514 Description: This 32-bit HDR map unleashes highly detailed real-world lighting to illuminate your 3D scenes with precision. Also known as "Image-Based Lighting," this technique allows for unparalleled realism in your visualizations. The map boasts noise-free, ultra-high detail (15k) and very high dynamic range in 32-bit per channel EXR format. The included map and 15k JPEG image provide ample resolution for backdrops, even in cinema-quality applications. Captured from a genuine sky (not digitally created), this HDR map was taken using auto bracketing and stitched from RAW files to ensure optimal quality. Included formats in the zip file: • 15k (15000×7500 pix) 32-bit EXR file • 15k (15000×7500 pix) 8-bit tonemapped JPEG file Dynamic Range: 9.4 EVs Sun Angle: 17 degrees Shooting Time: 15.14 Shot on the 41st parallel in October at 15.14, this HDR map captures a sun angle of 17 degrees. To determine the correct time of day for your project, use this angle and your latitude-longitude coordinates. For example, tools like Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun can calculate the correct time using this algorithm. If memory constraints are an issue and you don't require super-high resolution renders, scale down the EXR map with Photoshop to use a lower-resolution version. I used a 2k version for sample renders of this file. This HDR map is also available in Realsky HDRI Six Pack 2.
