Realsky HDRI Blue Cloudy 1430 Description: This 32bit HDRI map is designed to allow highly detailed real-world lighting to be used in your 3D scenes, a technique also known as "Image Based Lighting". This map offers noise-free ultra high detail (15k) and very high dynamic range in 32bit per channel .exr format. The map itself and supplied 15k jpeg image provide enough resolution for use as a backplate even for cinema quality. Taken from real sky, not digitally rendered, using auto bracketing and stitched from RAW files for best possible quality. Included formats in zip file: 15k (15000×7500 pix) 32 bit EXR file 15k (15000×7500 pix) 8 bit tonemapped JPEG file Measured Dynamic Range: 14.67 EVs Sun Altitude: 23 degrees Shooting Time: 14.30 On the 41st parallel, shooting in October at 14.30 results in a sun angle of 23 degrees. You can calculate the correct time of day for your project using this angle and your latitude. For example, Vray Sun or Mental Ray Sun tool has an algorithm for calculation. If you experience memory issues and don't need super high resolution renders, you can scale down the EXR map with Photoshop and use a lower res version. For instance, I used a 2k version when rendering sample renders of this file.
