Really Simple AA Battery End Caps
thingiverse
This is a straightforward solution for keeping terminals on AA batteries isolated while in your pocket. As someone who geocaches frequently, I need to carry spare batteries for my GPS device, but I don't want them to short circuit in my pocket. These caps effectively isolate both ends of the battery without damaging the battery's sides or using a loose-fitting box around the batteries. Simply print two caps, insert your batteries between them, and wrap them together with an elastic band - it really can't get any simpler! The elastic band is particularly useful because when you need to remove the batteries, you just pull the caps apart and the elastic band stretches to allow easy removal of one end cap.
